::Free entry. Amazing garden with lots of shade. I saw a giant iguana hanging out with some ducks. You can hear exotic birds in the trees and if youre lucky you can find a turtle. It's like Garden of Eden here. Bamboo trees; orchids; aloe; various palm trees; and so much more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! There is a cool place there with a unique wooden design for some shade.

::A Paradise in the City. What a beautiful place to walk, relax and take in the sights and sounds. And it is all in the heart of the city of Medellin. The park is free which makes the experience even more wonderful. We saw swans, ducks and at least four enormous iguanas here. The park even has an old converted rail car that has been converted into a snack bar! Spend one or two hours here and you won't regret it.

::Excellent place which shows different species of the national flower of Colombia, also it's big and free! In my opinion, I'd like it more if all the plants inside had their names at least, but it was very beautiful and peaceful.

::We visited the garden twice and both times I was left with the impression that this place is permanently under maintenance. I've had the privilege of visiting botanic gardens in different cities and countries and with Colombia's biodiversity, I feel like this place could be something out of this world. Anyhow, maybe I visited during the wrong season and truly hope that's the case. Enjoyed seeing some of the animals that have made this place their home. The store is definitely worth checking out and their restaurant serves a pretty delicious meal. Oh, the small herb and vegetable garden in front of the restaurant was a nice touch!

::It's worth a trip to this garden if only to escape the commotion of the city for an hour. The restaurants are delicious and accessible. The one near the entrance has sit-down service and delicious typical food. I didn't go to the fancier restaurant, but I wanted to, because it looks like a cool, sophisticated experience surrounded by the garden.
