  Most (not all) are very friendly, what I do not recommend is the "Cuban Neurosurgeon" who attended us (I do not remember her name) and I do not recommend going there if someone has serious spine problems like the ones I will describe later. The reasons why I do not recommend to the NC are these: 1) He is not friendly, nor is the patient's situation and the possible solution to the problem well understood. 2) You don't have enough knowledge to deal with advanced column topics. He mentioned that there were only two solutions: - A nerve block (but I do not specify what type of block, also this was done by the anesthesiologist who left my mother in a worse situation since all she did was intensify the pain, which had already subsided during her stay in the clinic) - A high-risk surgery (thanks to that my mother has suffered both last years since we were afraid of being left paraplegic and we do not continue with this option) 3) He did not refer my mother to another specialist who actually knew and had experience of the subject, but on his own he decided to give the "solutions" when there are hundreds, and not necessarily surgery. I write this so that whoever has column problems does not happen the same to my mother who has suffered a lot because of bad "professionals", in our case we assist with one of the best Neurosurgeons in Colombia (Hans Carmona - Pereira) which He attended us in an exceptional way, with the greatest kindness he explained to us all the possible treatments, making it clear that Surgery was the last resort.
