::Great place to eat. Food is great, customer service is great and they serve you shots of Aguardiente as you eat!!!! 3 people can eat from one plate. Oh did I mention the chicharrones are HUGE!!!

::Huge portion of typical Bandaje Paisa. Giant chicharrón, chorizo, blood sausage, powdered beef, bowl of bean soup with pork hock, fried egg, fried plantain, rice, french fries, avocado and salad. We got 3 portions for the 5 of us and it was still too much. It was 180,000 COP for 3 plates and 2 beer each. Gloria herself came out and greeted us with a free shot of AguaArdiente. We got a total of 4 free shots of AguaArdiente each! We thought the chicharrón was over cooked as the skin was hard as rock and the meat charcoal like. We were thinking this might be because they were re-cooked from lunch as we went for dinner around 7pm and there was hardly anyone there and this is generally a lunch place. The bean soup was the best part and was delicious. It had one of the better blood sausages I have had, but it's not my favorite. The fench fries and salad were good, everything else was on par.

::This place has been in business for many many years and one of Envigado's iconic restaurants that serves typical Paisa cuisine, i.e. Bandeja Paisa. The chicharron is famous because it is probably the largest piece of chicharron you will ever see served as part of your Bandeja Paisa platter. The Bandeja Paisa platter is so large that it can easily serve to or three really hungry people -- at a cost of about 33 mil COP. I gave the waitress a 50 mil COP bill and told her to keep the extra as a tip for herself and the cooks. The staff will come around and take good care of you, frequently offering you com po lientary shots of Aguardiente. The owner is full of love, smiles, and big juicy warm hugs. It is more than a meal, it is an experience, one that creates fond memories, leaving you wanting to return again for such good tender living care.

::This is the best typical Colombian cuisine in Medellin. I have been travelling Colombia for 6 months and this place has the best Chicharron in all of Colombia. You must absolutely order the bandeja paisa. You get a free shot of aguardiente upon ordering. The staff is 5 star service. This place exceeds all excpections. It is amazing. We love you Doña Gloria.
